Average Home Prices

Average Home Price In The High Desert

One of the main reasons why I moved to the High Desert was housing affordability and what you get for your money was just amazing to me. In 2018 I purchased my 2 story, 2,400 sqft home in the City of Victorville for $300,000. Housing affordability is what brought me here and I genuinely fell in love with the High Desert lifestyle. Since then, average home prices is currently at $417,000 according to Redfin.

Housing Affordability

High Desert Housing Affordability

Let’s face it, living in California is expensive! With the average home sales price in Los Angeles County along you are looking at $785,000! My jaw dropped when I saw that. Surprisingly, in the High Desert the median home price just dropped to $421,500! What a difference that is.

It’s not a surprise, home buyers who choose to stay in California are looking to buy in the High Desert. When I ask my clients why they want to move to the High Desert they all tell me… “I get more for my money” and it’s true.
